Contributor's Note

Of particular interest is the attention the author gives to the localised behaviour of mosquitoes depending on multiple factors, the indication that the restructuring of the water environment in the name of eradicating malaria is actually facilitating mosquito-friendly habitats, and the acknowledgement to Melahat Houloussi in the author's preface for the anatomical drawings of the mosquitos and for helping co-create this document.
